Description
We numerically analyzed the resonance states of 16O and 40Ca using the Second RPA (Random Phase Approximation) method. In particular, we conducted a detailed investigation of the collectivity of particle-hole configurations and the spreading width for nuclear double-phonon excitations. In this talk, we will present the results of the analysis and discuss the differences from conventional single-phonon excitations.
