Study of Magnetic Domain Bubble Expansion in Ta/Pt/Co/Pt Films on Different Substrates

Description

This work investigates the influence of different substrates on domain wall motion in Ta/Pt/Co/Pt thin films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. The samples were fabricated on different substrates, and magnetic domain bubble expansion was driven by out-of-plane magnetic field pulses under an applied in-plane magnetic field. By comparing the domain morphology, expansion direction, and domain wall velocity as functions of the in-plane and out-of-plane magnetic fields, distinct substrate-dependent domain expansion behaviors and variations in creep fitting parameters were observed. These results suggest that substrate-related interface quality, defect distribution, or pinning behavior may play an important role in domain wall motion.
