DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleague\,\nWe are very pleased to announce that the 8th
  International Workshop on Nuclear Dynamics in Heavy-ion Reactions (IWND20
 26) will be held in the Institute of Modern Physics and Physics and Electr
 onic Engineering College\, Shanxi Normal University\, Taiyuan\, China\, on
  August 21-25\, 2026. August 21 is the registration date\, August 22-24 ar
 e workshop days\, and August 25 is the departure date.\nIWND is an importa
 nt series of international academic conference which was initiated by Chin
 ese scientists. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum for the
  international community of nuclear dynamics and exchange new progress obt
 ained both in experiments and in theories for heavy ion physics. The 8th w
 orkshop follows the previous workshops held in Beijing Normal University (
 1st 2007 Beijing)\, Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics\, Chinese Academ
 y of Sciences (2nd 2009 Shanghai)\, Shenzhen University (3rd 2012 Shenzhen
 )\, Institute of Modern Physics\, Chinese Academy of Sciences (4th 2014 La
 nzhou)\, Henan Normal University (5th 2016 Xinxiang)\, Huzhou University (
 6th 2018 Huzhou)\, and Sun Yat-sen University (7th 2024 Zhuhai).\nThis wor
 kshop aims to help the young nuclear physicists reach the forefront of nuc
 lear physics as soon as possible. Also\, the workshop aims to discuss the 
 most important problems\, such as the limit of nuclear existence and the e
 volution of celestial bodies.\nThe workshop will cover the following topic
 s:\n\n\nHeavy-ion nuclear reaction dynamics and isospin effects\n\n\nSymme
 try energy in nuclear matter and neutron stars\n\n\nPhase transitions in s
 trongly interacting matter\n\n\nReaction dynamics for superheavy elements 
 and weakly bound nuclei\n\n\nNuclear dynamics induced by protons\, anti-pr
 otons\, mesons and photons\n\n\nNuclear clusters\, hypernucleus\, astro-nu
 clear aspects\n\n\nExperimental opportunities in Chinese nuclear physics f
 acilities\n\n\n \nSeveral selected papers will be considered for publicat
 ion as a special section in a SCI-indexed journal “Nuclear Science and T
 echniques” (http://www.springer.com/41365\; http://www.nst.sinap.ac.cn).
  The peer review process will be applied before the acceptance of such man
