摘要 In the standard model, photons emitted in rare $b\to s\gamma$ decays are mostly left-handed, and therefore measurement of photon polarization in exclusive $B$ decays could serves as a platform to search for new physics beyond the standard model. In this talk, I will discuss the recent progresses on rare $B$ decays, and present a model-independent determination of photon helicity in  radiative $B\to K_{res}\gamma$ decays.

 

报告人简介:

王伟,上海交通大学物理与天文学院特别研究员。 2009年于中国科学院高能物理研究所获得博士学位,先后在意大利核物理研究院巴里分部,德国电子同步加速器研究所和波恩大学核从事博士后研究工作。

从事粒子物理领域研究,在本领域国内外一流学术期刊上共发表SCI论文80多篇,被引用2800多次(统计来自于Inspirehep)。论文先后被入选2008年中国百篇最具影响力论文,2017年中国物理C期刊优秀论文。
