Introduction: This workshop aims to highlight research areas related to the Shanghai Laser Electron Gamma Source (SLEGS), establishing a cross-disciplinary platform for fundamental nuclear physics research and applied development. The workshop will feature in-depth discussions along two key dimensions: exploring cutting-edge challenges in nuclear science through representative projects including 180Ta nucleosynthesis and the PANDORA initiative, while simultaneously examining how nuclear data analysis and industrial applications can expand the research potential of major scientific facilities.
The theoretical computation session will focus on statistical models for medium-heavy nuclei studies, along with shell model and cluster model approaches for light nuclear systems. These discussions will provide essential theoretical frameworks for interpreting experimental data and foster sustained collaboration between domestic and international research teams.
The scientific program includes the following topics:
(1) Nucleosynthesis
(2) PANDORA Project
(3) Nuclear Data
(4) Industrial Application
(5) Model Calculation.
Workshop: 9:00-12:00 am, 2:00-5:00 pm, August 9-10, 2025
