Description
We experimentally investigate nonlinear pulse propagation in periodically arranged media combined with negative‑dispersion elements. Key observations include: (1) soliton‑like spatial mode propagation of the optical spot between periodic media; (2) efficient pulse self‑compression enabled by a negative‑dispersion medium; and (3) self‑similar propagation of pulses simultaneously in the temporal and spatial domains. Numerical simulations based on the NLSE support the experimental findings. These results demonstrate integrated spatiotemporal control of intense laser fields.
