Description
Femtoscopic correlation measurements provide a unique tool to investigate the space-time structure of particle-emitting sources created in high-energy collisions. Using quantum statistical effects and final-state interactions between particles, femtoscopic analyses offer direct access to the source size, emission dynamics, and collective behavior of the produced matter on the femtometer scale. Such studies have become an essential component of heavy-ion physics, providing complementary information to observables of the quark-gluon plasma. In this presentation, I would like to give a summary of femtoscopic correlation studies from the CMS experiment, including the latest measurements in pp, pPb and PbPb collisions.
