Code of Conduct

1. Purpose (宗旨)

he 11th Asian Triangle Heavy-Ion Conference (ATHIC 2026) is committed to providing a professional, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, nationality, or religion. We believe that physics thrives in an environment where diverse perspectives are respected and intellectual integrity is paramount.

2. Expected Behavior (鼓励的行为)

All participants (speakers, attendees, and staff) are expected to:

  • Be Professional: Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions.

  • Be Inclusive: Use welcoming and inclusive language.

  • Be Constructive: Critique ideas rather than individuals during Q&A sessions and discussions.

  • Respect Privacy: Obtain consent before sharing photos or recordings of others on social media.

3. Unacceptable Behavior (不被接受的行为)

Harassment in any form will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Inappropriate or suggestive remarks, jokes, or display of sexual images in presentations or social events.

  • Verbal or physical abuse, intimidation, or stalking.

  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.

  • Discriminatory language related to cultural background or language proficiency.

4. Reporting & Enforcement (举报与处理)

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the organizing committee immediately:

  • In-person: Find an organizer wearing a Red lanyard.

Consequences: Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. The organizers reserve the right to take any action deemed appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.
