Description
We calculate the electrical conductivity of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) state using the Arnold-Moore-Yaffe (AMY) effective kinetic theory, incorporating nonperturbative inputs via the medium distribution functions and the elastic scattering kernel. The calculation is performed for the $(2+1)$-flavor system over the temperature range $0.8\leq T/T_c\leq2.2$, relevant for the deconfined matter produced in relativistic heavy-ion collision experiments. The considered quark and gluon phase-space distribution functions are constrained by the Dyson-Schwinger equation (DSE)-based functional QCD framework. At the same time, the scattering amplitudes are evaluated using the nonperturbative Gribov resummation approach. In addition, an infrared-finite, momentum-dependent nonperturbative effective coupling is used in the scattering amplitudes, allowing the interaction strength to vary across the relevant kinematic channels. We find that the resulting temperature-scaled electrical conductivity shows good qualitative agreement with available lattice-QCD estimates and remains consistent with several phenomenological model calculations.
