Description

Introduction: With the growing convergence of quantum information science, nuclear physics, and particle physics, quantum entanglement is opening new avenues for understanding nuclear many-body systems, nuclear reaction dynamics, and fundamental interactions. The “Quantum Entanglement Studies in Nuclear and Particle Physics (QESNPP-2026)” workshop aims to bring together researchers from these closely connected fields to discuss recent theoretical and experimental advances and to explore the new perspectives offered by quantum entanglement in nuclear structure, reaction and decay processes, and high-energy particle interactions.

The workshop will focus on entanglement and continuum effects in nuclear many-body systems; entanglement dynamics and experimental probes in nuclear reactions, scattering, and decay processes; spin, flavor, and momentum entanglement in particle physics and high-energy collisions; and interdisciplinary applications of quantum-information methods, including Bell tests and quantum-state tomography.

Scheduled for Oct. 24-26, 2026, the event will include a series of lectures by esteemed experts and interactive sessions to encourage deep discussions and exchange of ideas.

The scientific program includes the following topics:

  • Nuclear structure, continuum coupling, and quantum entanglement in many-body systems

  • Generation, evolution, and detection of entanglement in nuclear reactions, scattering, and decay processes

  • Spin, flavor, and momentum entanglement in particle physics and high-energy collisions, and their observable signatures

  • Bell nonlocality, quantum-state tomography, and applications of quantum information methods in nuclear and particle physics experiments

Registration deadline: Oct. 10, 2026
